Our topics have changed from Domestic Violence and Crimes Against Persons due to recent events that have occurred in our county and other areas.
Our new topics are Active Shooter, Use of Force, and things being done to address youth violence.
Let’s all work together in our communities to become more involved and keep our neighborhoods safe.
Light refreshments will be served.
The Black Men’s Roundtable is a discussion forum created to provide a platform for Black men in the community from diverse backgrounds to express and share ideas and opinions on a host of topics that impacts their communities. On this episode of the BMR we will chop it up with a panel of Black men military veterans to get their perspective on topics they’re often left out of. Our panel will take questions from our live audience. Join us on-location!
Come and experience entertainment, tastings, games, art vendors, door prizes, and much more!
Join us at the Dog River Library for wine tastings and a pleasant evening of fellowship!
The Douglasville Police Department invites everyone to fellowship together while discussing topics impacting our community. Discussions are held on the 2nd & 4th Thursday of the month. (No 4th Thursday meetings in November or December, nor on holidays). We speak on local issues and work together as one for the benefit of the community. Follow us on Facebook to see all our events and meetings.
We invite you to grab a mat and come join us. On nice days we will have yoga on our lawn, and on cold or wet days we will have it in the Douglasville Police Department Community Room next to the main building. This is a FREE class that begins at 5:30 pm and lasts about an hour.
You do not have to sign up ahead of time. Just show up and be ready to exercise.
